The centerpiece of the Intermountain Native Plant Growers Association is a native plant tagging and education program called "Utah's Choice".

Included in the Utah’s Choice plant line-up are 42 perennials, grasses, shrubs, trees, and succulents that are easy to grow in home landscapes throughout the Intermountain West. These plants provide beauty, color, fragrance, and year-round structure and interest, but require very few resources, especially compared to traditional landscape plants.
